The Williamsburg Community Farm Show’s Fall Extravaganza is “much bigger than it was 10-15 years ago,” board member and Farm Show Secretary Angie Walason said. “Following COVID, this has really ballooned into something we can be proud of.”
This Saturday, Oct. 7, will be the next Fall Extravaganza at the Farm Show and its grounds, beginning at 9 a.m. Walason said over 50 vendors have signed up with a wide variety of craft and homemade items along with a variety of food vendors.
“There’s really something for everyone here,” Walason said.
The Farm Show Queen Morgan Reighard and her committee are also planning a variety of children’s activities including games and face painting.
“I’m just excited to be at one of the Farm Show’s signature events and really get to meet the community and explain to them what I said when I became queen — we are more than just a week in August,” Reighard said. “The Farm Show is committed to these traditions and new events for the community and the surrounding areas.”
Walason echoes that same sentiment. “We are just excited for the event. This has become a cornerstone in the events at the Farm Show, and we are excited for everyone to come out, explore the Farm Show grounds, and appreciate the uniqueness of arts and crafts in our area.”
Besides the Farm Show, Potted Memories Greenhouse in Williamsburg will also be holding their annual Pumpkinfest Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a variety of craft and food vendors, free pumpkin and painting for kids and plenty of fall items for decorating.
