An organization to be known as the Webster Union Literary Society was formed at the Curryville schoolhouse Friday evening. Alternate meetings will be held at Curryville and Law school house. The first session will be at Curryville, and the debate topic will be ”Resolved that the United States should annex the Philippines.”

D. M. Bare is off on a Western tour, combining pleasure and business. He will be absent a month or two.
