C-K Gains First Win, Juniata Valley Determined to Keep Win Streak Going

Because of a lack of available officials, Claysburg-Kimmel decided to move last week’s game with West Branch to Thursday.

The Bulldogs rewarded Chuck Kassick with his first victory as their coach. Kassick returned the favor by giving the players a day off to savor the win.

“The great thing is it’s not about me. It’s about our kids. It’s about our community. To see the kids react afterwards and see the support we got from the community afterwards, it’s a pretty great feeling,” Kassick said.
