The 86th Hollidaysburg Community Farm Show Returns to Hollidaysburg Sept. 20

The 86th Hollidaysburg Community Farm Show will be held Sept. 18 through 21. The Show will be held at the Hollidaysburg Senior High Sports Building on Montgomery St.

Special events include the following:

• Contest for adults and children Tuesday through Thursday.

• Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. – Miniature Horse Petting Zoo.

• Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 p.m. – A Master Canner will be available to provide pressure canner gauge testing and information about preserving fruits and vegetables.

• Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. – Golden Tiger Marching Blue Band concert.

Entries for the Farm Show will be accepted Sept. 18, 7-10 p.m. and Sept. 19, 8-10 a.m. Check the Premium Guide rules and exclusions regarding entries, contests and farm show hours. Public viewing of the exhibits is Tuesday, 4-10 p.m .; Wednesday, 8-9 p.m .; and Thursday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

Due to Avian Flu, eggs and any products made using feathers is prohibited.

Come, participate, and enjoy a variety of contests for adults and children, such as coloring, corn hole, pie eating, milk drinking, and hay bale throwing. Poster and baking contest rules, dates and times are available in the premium book.
