CR Boys Soccer Falls Short Early in Season

The Chestnut Ridge boys soccer team went 0-2 on the week as it suffered a 4-0 loss to Forest Hills and 1-0 defeat to Westmont Hilltop.

The Lions were in a 1-0 match with the Rangers until the final 18 minutes when the visiting squad put three goals into the back of the net.

Against the Hilltoppers, Ridge surrendered a goal nine minutes into the contest but held Westmont scoreless the rest of the way.

The Lions were unable to capitalize on their chances and now sit at 0-3-0 on the young season.

Chestnut Ridge travels to Huntingdon and hosts Hollidaysburg this week.
