The WISE Women of Blair County have announced a new grant opportunity: Empowering Women & Eliminating Racism.
The purpose of this grant is to support efforts to empower women and eliminate racism through collaboration, service and education techniques. Through the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation, the WISE Women have established this funding opportunity, which could include workshops and educational events, training sessions and direct service projects targeted toward empowering women and eliminating racism.
WISE Women anticipates awarding between three to five projects that serve Blair County residents this award cycle.
All grant funds must be expended between Jan. 1, 2024 and Dec. 31, 2024.
Tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or public charity with a 50 percent deductibility limitation (See IRS.gov) are eligible.
The grant application is due Friday, Oct. 27, 2023 at 4 p.m.
All organizations submitting a grant application will be notified of their status by early December 2023.
The Grantee Performance Report is due 45 days after event or no later than Jan. 17, 2025, if a year-long event.
