The Williamsburg Community Farm Show's Livestock Auction is typically one of the biggest events during the week of the Farm Show. This year's did not disappoint. According to Board President Jeff Walason, the Livestock Sale auctioned off 115 items and animals making those showing $62,000.
"It's double what we usually do," Walason said.
However, this year was a little different: a lot of those who showed animals were giving back to the community.
"Some kids donated back to the show ring fund, and some bought animals and then sold back for the show ring," Walason said.
