Ann Berkhimer Gregory

Ann Berkhimer Gregory passed away peacefully July 26, 2023, at Goodwin House Alexandria (VA).

Born in Roaring Spring, on Oct. 17, 1925, Ann graduated from Penn State University and received her master’s degree from American University. She taught chemistry and biology in Arlington County, VA, for more than 25 years.

She was active in her community, church and in local politics.

Married to the love of her life Wade F. Gregory for more than 73 years, they moved to Arlington, VA, in 1961. They also lived in Santiago, Chile; Bogota, Colombia and Nairobi, Kenya. Ann and Wade were avid and adventurous travelers visiting many domestic and international remote destinations.

Ann is survived by her husband Wade, son Gregory (Becky), daughters Charlotte and Molly (Bill McLaughlin); five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ann will be remembered for her keen intelligence, and interest in people, different cultures and international and domestic politics.
