29th Annual Little Miss Claysburg Queen Pageant

Aug. 12, 2023, at 11:45 a.m. the Little Miss Claysburg Queen Pageant will take place. This is in conjunction with Claysburg Area Community Days. Director and Hostess is Diana G. Walter-Dively.

Twenty-two girls will be participating (from top left photo):

4. Charlotte Elizabeth Butcher-1st grade. Daughter of Emily and Brendon Butcher.

5. Bailee Grace Claar-2nd grade. Daughter of Renee and Tyler Claar.

6. Piper MacDodson-4th grade. Daughter of Christa Dodson and Ryan Dodson.

7. Madisyn Margaret Drobnoek-3rd grade. Daughter of Emily and Robert Drobnoek.

Eight runners-up and the new queen will be crowned.

The 2022 queen was Trinity Grayce Weyandt, daughter of Mindy Weyandt and Garrett Weyandt

Special awards include the following:

• Loretta “Ret”Walter Memorial “Spirit” Award presented to a stage attendant or Committee Member for “Dedication and Devotion” Last Years Winner was Theresa Lattieri.

• Loretta “Ret” Walter Memorial “Spirit” Award presented to a Sponsor for “Appreciation and Gratitude”. Last Years Winner Antique Depot/Divelys Surplus/Hard Bean Café and Creamery.

Contestants are judged on: Appearance, Showmanship, Modeling, and Interview (Q and A Session).

This is not a Beauty Contest. Walter-Dively’s motto is Confidence, Character, Discipline and Leadership.
