The Woodbury Borough Council met on July 3.
The treasurer’s report and secretary’s report were reviewed and approved.
The Lower Alley storm drain project was completed by Claycomb Excavating using American Rescue Plan funds.
Russell Standard expected to do tar/chipping July 10. The council asked that no cars be on the road including Lodge Road, Grange Road, Lower Alley and Mill Street.
Terms of council members were discussed. Two members’ terms will be up this year and will be up for reelection.
Bedford County Tax Collection Committee report for 2022 was presented for review.
Currently there is a balance in the treasury of $213,393.42. Placing some money in CDs was discussed by the council.
The next meeting will be held Aug. 7.
