SAMA Bedford Celebrating 5 Years

2023 is the fifth anniversary of SAMA Bedford. All are invited to join in commemorating this milestone with a series of events throughout the summer.

On Thursday, Aug. 24, from 11 a.m. to noon, kick off the five-year anniversary celebrations with the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce.

On Friday, Aug. 25, embark on a remarkable journey through time at the opening reception of "Historic Bedford," an exhibition from the Fort Bedford Museum. This includes artifacts like the birth certificate to the right. From 6-9 p.m., attendees will celebrate both inside and outside, where guests can enjoy refreshments and the newly constructed pavilion out back.

The Children's Discovery Gallery will be updated with artifacts and interactive activities to make learning about the past an exciting adventure.
