‘Dreamland’ By Nicholas Sparks

Colby Mills lived on a small family farm in North Carolina with his aunt and sister. He and his sister were raised on the farm. He had some help with a manager but spent his days running the farm, fixing broken equipment and planning future expansions. Colby was musically talented. He was offered a gig in Florida for three weeks. While there, the crowds grew every night that he sang.

There he met Morgan Lee. Morgan was there with three college friends. She and her friends posted routines that they performed on Tic Toc. They had quite a following but the friends would soon split up and head their separate ways. Morgan was impressed with Colby and his music. She had musical training in the past and they instantly clicked. Morgan and Colby collaborated on a song. It was natural. Can anyone really fall in love so quickly?

Meanwhile, Beverly was leaving her abusive husband. She and her son, Tommie left the house in the dark. She left her phone, car and identification at home. Her husband worked for Homeland Security. She had to be smart. She had to protect Tommie. Beverly donned a black wig, sunglasses and pulled a cap over her head. At the bus station, Beverly separated from Tommie, leaving him sit a distance from her so nobody would suspect they were together. She changed her appearance several times. She would get off at a random stop and find a place where she and Tommie could live. She knew he could find her. Gary would track her down. He had connections. Soon Beverly was running out of food. She was losing sleep. How could she get a job and make money to support Tommie? He needed clothes and food and a safe place.

All three of these characters had dreams of a better life. Would they be able to find it? The three of them will come together through unusual circumstances.
