Joyce Irene (Stonerook) Bush

Joyce Irene (Stonerook) Bush, 79, of Altoona, passed away June 10, 2023, at her home.

She was born April 30, 1944, in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Richard L. and Nellie Rae (Conner) Stonerook. On April 6, 1963, in Alabama, she was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Bush, Jr.; together, they recently celebrated their 60th anniversary.

Joyce attended Northern Bedford and Hollidaysburg High Schools and was a Navy Wife for 22 years. She worked as a CNA and cashier, in manufacturing, and was Lutheran in faith. Joyce enjoyed reading, crosswords, visiting with grandchildren, and family reunions...
