Dennis A. Fay, 70, of Williamsburg, passed away Monday evening, June 5, 2023, at UPMC Altoona.

He was born July 8, 1952, in Altoona, son of the late Joseph A. and Betty V. (Hoffner) Fay. On April 8, 1978, he married Debra K. “Debbie” Williams in Williamsburg.

Surviving along with his wife of 45 years are three children: Bradley A. Fay (Mariel) of Langhorne, Kelly C. Torano (Vince) of Morrisville, and Scott M. Fay (Holly), of New Enterprise; eight grandchildren: Maria Fay, Jocelyn Fay, Matthew Fay, Emma Torano, Daniel Fay, William Fay, Bella Torano, and Joey Fay; five siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis was a 1970 graduate of Williamsburg High School and went on to receive his bachelors of mathematics from Edinboro University. He was employed in healthcare through Mercy Hospital, J.C. Blair Hospital, and retired from Nason Hospital.

Mr. Fay was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Williamsburg and proudly served on the finance committee of the church.

He was devoted to participating in fantasy baseball and football leagues with family and friends.

Dennis also enjoyed gardening and mowing. Most of all, he loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.

A funeral mass was held Friday, June 9, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Williamsburg, with celebrant, Father Matthew Reese officiating. Interment was held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Dennis may be given to UPMC Hileman Cancer Center, 800 Howard Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
