Greenfield Roads to be Double Seal Coated

Approximately three miles of Greenfield Township roads are set to be double seal coated after township supervisors approved the project at their June 6 meeting. A bid of $119,604 was accepted from Pittsburgh-based Russell Standard to complete the seal coating on Berkheimer, Monument, Piper Hollow, Mill, and Showalter Roads.

The company was the only one to submit a bid.

Jordan Oldham, road foreman and board chair, noted that the cost of the project was less than what was originally estimated.
