Teenagers Arrested

Five teenagers were arrested by state police and charged with painting traffic signs in the Southern cove with the letters “CHS” and “Class of ‘73” All five were from the Roaring Spring-Martinsburg area. They were referred to juvenile authorities.

Three teachers were retiring from the Spring Cove School District at the end of the term. They are Mrs. Pearl McNally and Mrs. Celia Diehl, elementary teachers, and Mrs. Virginia Long, a home economics teacher at the junior high school.
