Woman Returns from Chicago

Mrs. Daniel Stacey of Williamsburg has returned home from Dowie’s Divine Healing Home, Chicago. She went away using a cane and came back without one, improved and feeling much better.

C. B. Dilling, V.S. of Altoona, spent a short time in town yesterday. His friends in this vicinity will please note that his new telephone address is Phoenix phone, No. 35, Lampy’s.

Prof. S.B. Smith returned home from Scranton on Saturday last, where he attended the session of Grand Castle, K. G. E., during the week.

Sunday school next Sunday morning at 8:30 o’clock giving those an opportunity to attend the cornerstone laying for the Methodist Church at Roaring Spring.

Lieutenant Whitney, who was landed on the Cuban coast and sent on a secret mission to General Gomez, commanding the Insurgent army, is a son of Rev. Whitney, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church in Schellsburg.
