Local Candidate Questionnaires

The Morrisons Cove Herald mailed out questionnaires to all Blair County candidates who are running in the 2023 Primary Election, which will take place on Tuesday, May 16.

The Herald received more than 30 responses. We thank all those who took the time to fill out these questionnaires.

Though eight questions were asked of each candidate, six are in this edition due to space. Answers to other questions can be found online at mcheraldonline.com.

The following questions were asked to each candidate:

1. Please provide your name, age, town where you live and current occupation.

2. Please describe your family.

3. What in your background qualifies you to effectively represent this area?

4. What are the biggest challenges facing the residents of this area?

5. What do you expect to accomplish in the upcoming term if you are elected?

6. What is the biggest problem facing this area right now?

7. How will you help to solve that problem?

8. Why are you running?
