The Benson school building was dedicated to the cause of education in the name and honor of Miss Emma Benson, a veteran teacher who dedicated her life to the education of the young people in our community. Miss Benson spoke at the event, expressing her appreciation for the gesture and her pleasure at being recognized for her work.
