Putting cows on the front page since 1885.
Bonnie Floyd, author of “Bound to a Promise,” was the speaker this year for Ladies Encounter on April 29, 2023. The event was held at Faith Assembly of God.
Hundreds of women attended this event. The band Generations led the praise and worship. Their voices were a great inspiration to the audience.
Floyd shared her testimony of love, murder, and redemption, including many miraculous updates on what her ministry is doing on the island of Barbuda.
Floyd’s enthusiasm for what the ministry is doing and her genuine love of the people and the cause kept the audience attentive.
Her message challenged individuals to walk and take on their faith. You were left with a feeling of rejuvenation and a desire to go out and spread the word of Jesus.
Floyd talked about four people being killed in the water of Barbuda two of whom were her parents.
Floyd’s nonfiction book discusses this true story and nightmare. This story of redemption will grab your attention from the very first page to the end.
Floyd is part of a group that frequently has mission trips to Barbuda to help the citizens and the ministry.
