The Williamsburg Memorial Bridge connecting Williamsburg and Catharine Township was officially dedicated on April 27. The bridge replaced a “temporary” bridge erected after the 1936 Saint Patrick’s Day Flood washed away the original bridge.

Ariana Fletcher of Roaring Spring RR is starring in the Cresson Lake Playhouse production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid, Jr.” The 17 year old takes dance lessons under the direction of Danielle Lykens at Star Performance Dance Academy and voice lessons from Terry Osman of Alum Bank.

Broxon Dean, a second grade student at Roaring Spring Elementary won the 56 pound Bantam division while wrestling at the Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association West Regional Championships at Shippensburg University.

Ron Foor was named the 2013 Nason Hospital Volunteer of the Year. Foor had more than five years of service and volunteered in the maintenance department.
