Demolition of the Benson Elementary School Building was expected to begin soon. A project to remove the insulation from the roof was scheduled to begin in the next few days, and then Russo Demolition and Salvage was expected to begin work the week of April 23. While Russo has 45 days to complete the project, they estimated it would be done in three weeks time.
