Strengths:

Boys

We are a very experienced team and have a lot of returning letter winners. The top end of our roster is very strong and we have least 1 or 2 athletes in each event that can go out and place every meet.

Girls

We have a lot of talent returning, despite having a small roster, including 3 state qualifiers. The top end of our roster is very strong and we have least 1 or 2 athletes in each event that can go out and place every meet.

Concerns:

Boys

We are short on depth and experience in the distance events, but we are young in that area so it’s expected.

Girls

We have a lot of newcomers and lack a lot of depth in some events such as the throws.

Overall Outlook:

Boys

I think we’re going to have a really good season. The kids have high goals and so do the coaches. Many of the athletes put a lot of work in during the offseason and I expect that to show in the win column.

Girls

We have a good core group of returners as well as some underclassmen and newcomers who should be very competitive with anyone they go up against. We hope to have a winning season and send some girls to the state meet.
