Bid to Open for Construction

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is scheduled to open bids next week in Harrisburg for the restoration of the platform and the construction of a canopy over it at the Roaring Spring Railroad Station. The project is expected to cost approximately $96,000.

The Henrietta Fellowship of Churches was planning for its 46th annual Easter sunrise service at 6:15 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 12 at the Henrietta Church of God.

The CHS Graduating Class of 1982 placed a trophy case in the gymnasium hallway to honor the memory of Mike Carper, a classmate who was killed in an auto accident.

Frank and Mark Nale, who are among the top trout fishermen in the state, were giving a talk on “Spinfishing for Trout” at the Henrietta Sportsmen’s club. Frank has over 60,000 spinner-caught trout to his credit, probably more than any other fisherman in the state.
