PennDOT is presently developing plans for a project to rehabilitate bridges at Route 2011 (Clover Creek Road), Route 2017 (Fox Run Road), and Route 3007 (Pine Hollow Road) in Blair County.
The structure on Route 2011 (Clover Creek Road) over Clover Creek is located in Woodbury Township. Current plans are to use accelerated construction techniques to reduce the construction duration and for traffic to use a detour to allow the contractor full access to the bridge.
Work on the bridge which carries Route 2017 (Fox Run Road) over Roaring Run in Catharine Township, as well as work on Route 3007 (Pine Hollow Road) over Smoky Run, in Greenfield Township is also planned with traffic at both locations to be detoured to allow the contractor full access to each bridge.
Work on all three projects will consist of the replacement of the bridge beams and deck with minimal approach work.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives from PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Williamsburg C&MA Church located at 5270 Piney Creek Road, Williamsburg, PA 16693.
The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. Any person requiring special aid or additional information regarding the meeting may contact the project manager, Joshua Schaffer, at (814) 696-7282, or [email protected].
