Park Sets Dates

The management of the Memorial Park has already let some dates for the park and indications are that this will be a busy place during the summer months as the years come and go. This Is as it should be. All the people of the Cove should be interested in this park and should make it a beauty spot in the Cove.
Roy “Bobby” Simpson of Mines has been threatened with blood poisoning, a shoe having rubbed his foot. On Monday J. W. Kifer and Thomas Kipe took him to Martisburg, where Dr. J. W. Hersberger gave Bobby the necessary treatment.
The Woodbury sewing class, which ended last Saturday, gathered at the Highway Inn, at which place each student donned her new gown. Then Photographer Samuel Fluke took pictures of the forty of which the class was composed, in a body.
Miss Maud Empfield is helping out the Banks family of New Valley on account of their daughter Bertha having quinsy.
