2023 ICC Basketball Championships Feb. 17, 18

The ICC Basketball Championships will be held at Claysburg-Kimmel on Friday, Feb. 17, and Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023.

The league will once again be offering a two-day event that will provide number-1 and number-2 seeds in the north and south an opportunity to compete for a league championship. Important information is as follows:

• Doors will open at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.

• Doors will open at noon on Saturday.

• The higher seed will be the home team on Friday.

• North teams will be home teams on Saturday.

• If two teams from the same division advance to Saturday’s championship game, the higher seed will be the home team.

• Home teams will sit to the left of the head scorer’s table.

• An athletic trainer will be in attendance at all games, one hour before and one hour after.

• The game ball will be awarded to the MVP of the varsity championship games as voted on by the winning team’s coaching staff.

Parking

Buses will need to park in the lower parking lot next to the football field. Parking may be tighter than usual based on the field upgrade project continuing. Bus drivers need to enter the following address into GPS to go directly to this designated location:

3:45 – Girls Varsity North number-1 vs. South number- 2: Williamsburg vs. Northern Bedford County

5:15 – Girls Varsity South number-1 vs. North number-2: Southern Huntingdon vs. Bellwood-Antis

6:45 – Boys Varsity North number-1 vs. South number-2: West Branch vs. TBD

8:15 - Boys Varsity South number-1 vs. North number-2: TBD vs. Juniata Valley

Saturday Games:

JH Boys: 2:45 p.m. – Williamsburg (N) vs. McConnellsburg (S)

Varsity Girls: 4:45 p.m. – Friday Winners

Varsity Boys: 6:45 p.m. – Friday Winners
