Judith Anne (Lang) Calhoun, 82, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, Jan. 15, 2023, at her home.
She was born March 4, 1940, in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Robert Lawrence and Anna Rachel (Isenberg) Lang. On April 7, 1962, she married Norman A. Calhoun at the Williamsburg Zion Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death April 15, 2020, following 58 years of marriage.
She is survived by a son, Scott Calhoun (Katherine Brown) of La Mesa, CA; two daughters: Lauren Sinclair (John) of Julian and Kristen England (Brian) of Williamsburg; five grandchildren: Scott Calhoun II, Alyssa Sinclair, Emily Sinclair, Isaac England and Bryce England; and a great-grandson, Caiden Calhoun; and a sister Erdene Dibert of Williamsburg.
Judy was a 1958 graduate of Williamsburg High School and in 1962 earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in home economics education from Pennsylvania State University.
For many years, she taught home economics at the Williamsburg High School and after retiring, Judy substitute taught at the high school.
Judy was a member of the Williamsburg Zion Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy also enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, cooking, baking and walking Rails to Trails.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public services. Private inurnment will be held at Presbyterian Cemetery, Williamsburg.
Memorial contributions in memory of Judy may be given to Williamsburg Public Library, Williamsburg Vol. Fire Company or Williamsburg Veterans Memorial Association (Community Center).
