Wreath Day Celebrated By Bedford Co Vets

On Saturday, Dec. 17, the Fort Bedford Honor Guard boarded a Bollman Bus and rode to Arlington National Cemetery to lay wreaths at the grave sites of our fallen heroes. FBHG Treasurer Dave McGill said that he and 11 others from the Guard were eager to participate. According to McGill thousands of people came to recognize the veterans interred at Arlington.

"It was very moving to see everyone out there on a cold day," McGill said.

He added that because of the huge public turn out, every single grave at the Arlington Cemetery was decorated with a wreath.
