Putting cows on the front page since 1885.
On Dec. 9, Southern Cove Power Reunion started the Second Annual Country Christmas Light Show at 5:30 p.m. The grounds were filled with displays from area businesses, groups and families.
Folks driving through the grounds could turn their FM radio to 90.1 to listen to a Christmas playlist. A stop at the clubhouse for a visit with Santa, hot chocolate, and cookies was a highlight of the exhibit.
On Saturday night, Dec. 10, there was a two-horse drawn wagon families could ride in as they enjoyed the display. Orchard View Clydesdales provided the wagons and horses for an authentic experience.
There were 30 displays from a gingerbread house to trucks donned in Christmas lights. Some folks have started signing up for next year's display.
The Country Christmas Light Show will continue on Dec. 15th and 16th starting at 5:30 p.m.
