Red Cross Drive a Success

Herald of Dec. 22, 1922

Martinsburg and vicinity is to be congratulated on the success of the recent Red Cross Drive which was put over splendidly by the earnest efforts of a few faithful workers. The success of the drive is due to the diligence and management of Mrs. J. S. Bonebreak and Rev. D. L. Shaffer, the secretary and chairman.

A deal was recently consummated whereby the May Bakery was purchased by Aaron Brumbaugh, of south Martinsburg. Mr. Brumbaugh will take possession the first of March. J. Nevin May, who has been in charge of the bakery for many years, will continue on as manager.
