Strengths: The number-one strength of our team this year is the ability to fill a lineup. This year our team will once again be anchored by our upper weights. We have many new sophomores who will earn their first experience on the mat as varsity wrestlers. All of them have had success in the past and are experienced.

Concerns: Although we have a full lineup, my number-one concern is injury. This sport is very demanding, and it can be very hard on your body. We are spread out through our lineup, but we do not have many back ups if someone gets injured or is sick.

Overall outlook: Eion Snider and Aaron Bowers were regional qualifiers a year ago, so I look for them to have another successful year. Our 285-pound wrestler, Brock Beach, will have his first experience at the varsity level this year. Although this is his first year starting, I look for him to have a very successful season.

Team goals: Our team goals are to win the ICC.
