Maggie Knisely, 10, of Claysburg took 1st place in the annual Edgar Snyder and Associates “My Holiday Wish” coloring contest. Maggie’s design featured an outdoor winter landscape with boxes falling from the sky above a snowman and an evergreen tree, with the text “Don’t you wish it snowed boxes of peace and love?”

Taylor Flaugh set two school records for the Central Dragons swim team during a competition against Clearfield. She took first place in the 200 freestyle and in the 500 freestyle, breaking school records held by Sue Stern and Kim Guyer, respectively.
