Roaring Spring
Richard L. “Dick” Wisor, 75, of Roaring Spring, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 3, 2022, at home after an extended illness.
He was born April 13, 1947, in Roaring Spring, son of the late Marshall L. and Ruth K. (Keith) Wisor.
He married Karen L. Ray Aug. 11, 1966.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Karen; two sons, Randy L. and Bryan B. Wisor and his wife, Autumn, all of Roaring Spring; four grandsons: Camden, Carter, Colby and Carson; three half-sisters: Marlene Aurandt of Martinsburg, Sandra Murphy and her husband, Harry, of Hollidaysburg, and Debbie Frederick and her husband, Steve, of Hunlock Creek; and a half-brother, Ronald Wisor and his wife, Carol, of McDonald, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by two infant children, Jeffrey Allan and Brenda Lee.
Dick was of the Brethren faith.
He retired on disability due to an unfortunate accident in 1980 from New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co.
Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially loved spending time and providing for his family.
A funeral was held Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring, (www.thompsonfh.com). Pastor James Shaffer officiated. Interment was made in Fairview Cemetery.
