Claysburg Salvation Army Asks for Donations

It is time again to kick off the 2022 Claysburg Salvation Army Service Unit Campaign. We anticipate an increase in emergency assistance requests this year, particularly from our fixed income residents, due to the rising costs for basic necessities like fuel oil, groceries and gasoline. We ask for your support in this challenging time.

You can mail a check made payable to Claysburg Salvation Army to:

Lynn and Janice Crist,

277 Bedford St.

Claysburg, PA 16625

We are asking churches to take a freewill offering for the Salvation Army at your church on an Advent Sunday before December 25, 2022. Please contact us to make arrangements to pick up your offering.

The newest and easiest is on-line donating if you have access. Simply click this link and make your donation from $1 up to any amount. It is safe and secure: https://give.salvationarmy.org/campaign/use-wpa-kettle-2020-claysburg-service-unit/c314339

Funds generated will support the emergency needs of local people in 2022 from Newry, PA south to Imler, PA ranging from children, families and senior citizens.

Please consider giving a hand-up to your neighbors in need this holiday season through your donation to the Claysburg Salvation Army.

Best wishes,

Claysburg Salvation Army Service Unity Board Members
