Search parties were formed to look for a missing 82 year old hunter. Police were called to Huston Township when he did not return to his vehicle in the evening. The man was found by a neighbor the next day. The lost hunter’s only complaint was cold hands, but he was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
Roaring Spring increased its police force with three new hires. Allen Fochler and Jason Bott were hired as part-time police officers, and Nathan Hale was hired as a full-time officer.
