Surprise Birthday Celebration

Herald of Nov. 17, 1922

On Wednesday evening a number of friends of Mrs. C. C. Campbell gathered at her home in honor of her birthday. The affair was a complete surprise, and was much enjoyed by all present. Mrs. Campbell received a number of beautiful and useful gifts. During the evening a dainty luncheon was served, and at a late hour all departed to their homes, wishing her many more happy birthdays.

What can you make for a Christmas gift that will be both useful and decorative? A hand woven basket is just the thing and so easy to make when you learn how. Join the basketry class and let it take care of your worries, A two hour class will be conducted every Tuesday at the home of Mrs. J. K. Archey. Call 21M15 at your convenience if interested.

The young people of the St. John’s Reformed Christian Endeavor society will present the rural play entitled “Home Ties” in D’Ford’s Theatre on Thursday evening. The prices of admission are 25 and 35 cents.
