Fire ripped through two barns and threatened a third on Friday afternoon, Oct. 21. Multiple crews responded to the 4:15 call at the Piney Creek Rd. farm owned by Dwayne Keithley and arrived to find two structures fully involved and a third in danger of catching fire.
According to Williamsburg Fire Chief Ted Hyle, a team effort of fire departments from Williamsburg, Martinsburg, Roaring Spring, East Freedom, Geeseytown, Alexandria and Marklesburg got the fire under control and saved the main barn.
