The Lady Dragon Tennis team sent two singles players and two doubles teams to compete in the district tournament.
Julia Ritchey, who was seeded third in the tournament, defeated a Westmont player in the first round, then won in the quarterfinals against a Bishop Guilfoyle player, but lost a three-set match in the semifinals to the number-two seeded player from Central Cambria. Brooklyn Coppersmith won in the first round against another Bishop Guilfoyle player but lost in the quarterfinals to the number-one seeded player from Forest Hills.
The team of Adacyn James and Kate Dunn won in the first round of the doubles tournament in a two-set match against a Tyrone team, then lost in the quarterfinals to a Central Cambria team in two sets. Ritchey and Ashlyn Renner formed the second doubles team and were seeded second in the tournament. They defeated a Richland team in two sets in the first round, then defeated a Central Cambria team in the quarterfinals, followed by beating the number-three seeded team from Westmont in the semifinals. In the doubles finals, they faced the number-one seeded team from Central Cambria. Ritchey and Renner lost in the first set, won the second 6-4, then lost in the final set to be runners-up for the tournament.
This concludes the season for the Lady Dragon Tennis team. They ended the season with a record of 10-6, while sending two singles players and two doubles teams to districts, and having one team place second overall in the tournament.
