\As the Lady Dragons continued through their season, they came to a roadblock last week when traveling to face the Bishop Guilfoyle Lady Marauders. The Dragons faced defeat in just three sets, losing in the first 25-13. Nearly making a comeback, however, in the second and third sets, but still losing both, 25-17 and 25-18 respectively, the Dragons ended with a 3-0 loss.
Alex Klotz had 21 good serve receptions and 16 good digs throughout the match for the Dragons. Maya Hazenstab had 14 good serve receptions herself, while Kaitlyn Weitzel had 10 good digs. The JV team had also taken a loss to the Marauders, losing in two nail-biting sets each with a score of 28-26.
Now, with a record of 2-5, the Dragons continue on to face the Greater Johnstown Lady Trojans, the Somerset Lady Eagles, and the Bedford Lady Bisons in the upcoming week.
