The Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Company is holding one of its biggest and most popular fundraisers this weekend when it holds its annual ox roast weekend Friday and Saturday, Aug. 26 to 27.
According to Freedom Township Chief Ron Henry, the ox roast is a major fundraiser for the fire company that has grown into a weekend of activities that all ages can enjoy.
“Besides the food, there is something for everyone to enjoy and we look forward to seeing out friends come out to not only support the fire company, but to socialize and simply have fun,” he said.
