The Central Pennsylvania Bible Conference will conduct its 102nd year of existence during the annual summer session at the Casino at Lakemont Park in Altoona on the dates of July 31 to Aug. 5, 2022.
The Bible conference was established in 1920 and remains the longest continual existing conference of its kind in America.
This year’s theme is “Stedfast in the Faith” taken from I Corinthians 15:58.
Speakers will include Dr. David Kistler with Hope Ministries International from Hickory, North Carolina, and Dr. Wendell Calder with Local Church Evangelism from Bangor, Maine.
Missionary guest will be Dr. Kevin Callahan, President of International Partnership Ministries.
Special musicians will include Jim and Kera O’Bryon, The Keystone State Quartet, The Hyssongs and The Agee Family.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday and at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday with a formal dinner at 5:30 p.m.
In addition to the adult services, there will be a Children Conference held during each service led by Carrie Biddle, Director of the Local South Central PA Child Evangelism Fellowship. A Youth Rally led by Pastor Barry Yingling of the Woodcock Valley Bible Church will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m. at Lakemont Park with Guest Speaker Tom Lamborn of High Point Camp and Game Director, Seth Hoffman of Camp Kanesatake.
