Southern Cove Volunteer Fire Company Annual Ox Roast and Car Show will be held Aug. 5 and 6.
The event will be held at the Replogle Community Building in New Enterprise.
Food sales will start both days at 11 a.m. With the famous ox roast, hamburgers, hot dogs, and other food will be served.
The will be several game booths and entertainment both nights.
On Friday at 7 p.m., the Queen Contest will take place followed by Bob and the Good ‘Ol Boys performing until 10 p.m.
On Saturday, the Craft and Vendor Show will open at 11 a.m. Attendees can enjoy indoor and outdoor booths.
The car show will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., with prizes awarded for longest distance traveled, firefighter’s choice, motorcycle, rat rod, truck, antique, import, and people’s choice.
The parade will begin at 6 p.m. Line up will start at 5.
Following the parade, entertainment will be a medley of local talent.
