The Woodbury Borough meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance on July 5, 2022.
Present were President Shawn Claycomb, Vice President Tim Wentz, Mayor Jordon Pabon, Shane Suter, and Ron Dibert.
Minutes from June were reviewed and approved.
The mayor reported he had given a couple notices out about grass cutting ordinances, and they were received well.
Woodbury Area Community minutes were reviewed dated for April 2022. Stones were removed out of the front yard. Pat Snyder from the food bank attended with a request to purchase a freezer. An electrician will be contacted before proceeding to check code regulations.
Ken Ott attended on behalf of his wife Peggy regarding custodial care. Fifty chairs are to be always kept in the dining room. Peggy is the contact person for rentals and reservations.
Maintenance issues included exterior doors needing painted. A light bulb needs replaced or fixed at the south side door.
A broken window in the interior food bank needs replaced.
The Kauffman House will be demolished and was scheduled to come down June 28, 2022. This did not happen, and Claycomb will contact the company.
The Land Development Ordinance No. 2022-0 upgrade was advertised but will need to be approved at next meeting.
Tar/chipping at Lower Alley/Lodge Street bids are continuing. Most companies do not want to do this. Claycomb will continue to take bids and search for companies.
Next meeting will be Aug. 1 at 7 p.m.
