Championship Win Caps Undefeated Season
The Central Dragons capped a perfect season with a PIAA Class 3A state championship win over Lancaster Catholic 13-2 in five innings Friday June, 17, 2022 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in State College.

The Dragons completed their perfect 27-0 season on Friday, defeating Lancaster Catholic in a game that didn't even go the distance. Central barely broke a sweat in its 13-2 rout of the Crusaders.
Lancaster Catholic went with their ace Noah Zimmerman, who had a 2-0 record and a stunning .96 ERA heading into the contest. Zimmerman had also pitched every game leading up to the state championship. It seemed as if the Dragons offense would have a tough task on their hands.
