Erratic Behavior at East Freedom Taco Bell Lands Woman in Jail

A woman’s erratic behavior at the East Freedom Taco Bell led to a struggle with police and a short foot chase.

According to Freedom Township police, at approximately 5 p.m. on June 13, officers were called to the Taco Bell for a report of a woman, later identified as Samantha A. Weyandt, 31, of Altoona walking in front of the drive-through holding up customers who were in line. Taco Bell employees told police that the woman was speaking to herself and acting “unusually.”
