Superintendent Todd B. Beatty reported that Northern Bedford was graduating 68 students and challenged the graduates to "continue to make the Northern Bedford Schools community proud."
A pediatric cardiologist who overcame multiple challenges in his personal and professional life told the Northern Bedford County School District graduates that "real life is not social media. It is slower and tougher."
However, Dr. Roland Crevecoeur of Hollidaysburg also told the graduates that they would "forge their own success" and offered 10 lessons from his own life, which he described as "wonderful."
Dr. Crevecoeur's energetic speech to the graduates included asking them to "do something important and serious ... If you wish to be taken seriously, do serious things."
