Woodbury Borough Council Seeking Bids for Tar, Chipping

Woodbury Borough Council met Monday, June 7, at the Woodbury Community Center. Present were President Shawn Claycomb, Vice President Tim Wentz, Shane Suter, Wayne Brumbaugh, and Secretary Barb Wilt. Absent were Ron Dibert and Mayor Jordon Pabon.

After the pledge to the flag, the meeting was called to order. The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

Expenditures for May were $3,954.73. June expenditures were $2,255.56. Total balance in general fund is $145,265.94. Total balance in General & State Aid is $157,063.06.

The mayor had been asked to pass out grass ordinance papers to a few residents.

The Kaufman house will be demolished. The bank will oversee obtaining the demolition crew.

Land Development Ordinance was upgraded and reviewed and will be advertised to the public soon.

The council felt yard sale weekend was a success.

Three bids will be received for tar and chipping for Lower Alley/Lodge Street.

Mike Diehl was approved to help with weed eating and possibly mowing for the borough. Wage increase was given to workers and is now $15 an hour.

The next meeting will be July 5 at 7 p.m.
