A Huntingdon man fleeing state parole agents was apprehended in Williamsburg following a brief chase through town.
According to charges filed by Williamsburg Borough police, on March 30, police were alerted that Michael Joseph Burd, 43, was on the run and headed toward Williamsburg. Police were cautioned that Burd was “probably armed.”
Williamsburg police said they spotted Burd’s vehicle driving south on Covedale Road and when police attempted to stop him, Burd allegedly led them on a pursuit that took them down East First Street to High Street, before turning onto Yellow Springs Drive.
