Thought for the Week

It was very early on Friday morning. Jesus had finished a three-hour prayer. He had urged His disciples to watch and pray with Him. Some may have prayed but none were able to stay awake long. A multitude (this is a difficult word to define but it was at the very least a large group) most likely comprised of Temple Police, Roman soldiers and ruffians hired to seize Jesus.
